Pentium distinguished themselves by developing sophisticated custom tools for protection analysis that were occasionally shared within the wider reverse engineering community. Their releases, though less frequent than those of larger groups, were accompanied by detailed technical documentation that earned respect from both scene participants and, occasionally, software security professionals.
