Fairlight (FLT) is one of the most legendary groups in the history of the digital underground, founded in 1987 as a Commodore 64 cracking and demo group. They expanded to multiple platforms while achieving excellence in both software cracking and demo creation. Known for their technical innovations and distinctive aesthetic style, Fairlight helped define the visual and musical language of the demoscene while maintaining a significant presence in the warez scene. Despite legal challenges in the early 2000s, they have continued to be active in the demoscene, showcasing their resilience and cultural significance.
